Florida Panthers One Win Away from Stanley Cup Championship

Panthers Defeated Oilers 4-3 in Game 3

The Florida Panthers are on the verge of their first Stanley Cup championship after defeating the Edmonton Oilers 4-3 in Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Final. The Panthers now hold a 3-0 lead in the best-of-seven series and can clinch the championship with a win in Game 4 on Monday night.

Bobrovsky's Heroics Lead Panthers to Victory

Goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky was once again the hero for the Panthers, making 35 saves to help preserve the win. Bobrovsky has been a key part of the Panthers' success this postseason, posting a 2.33 goals-against average and a .921 save percentage.

The Panthers got goals from four different players in the win, including Carter Verhaeghe, Sam Reinhart, Anthony Duclair, and Aleksander Barkov. Barkov's goal was his second of the series and gave the Panthers a 3-1 lead in the third period.

Oilers Face Uphill Battle

The Oilers will now need to win four straight games to win the Stanley Cup. No team has ever come back from a 3-0 deficit in the Stanley Cup Final.

The Oilers will have their work cut out for them in Game 4, as the Panthers have been dominant at home this postseason. The Panthers have won all six of their home games in the playoffs and have outscored their opponents 25-10.

Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Final will be played on Monday night at FLA Live Arena in Sunrise, Florida.
